Oklahoma (Preston High School)
“Oklahoma” is being presented at Preston High School in Kingwood, WV on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 15, 16 and 17 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $6.00 and are available at the door.
Allegheny Treenware Log Cabin Holiday Open House (Dec 4-24)
Allegheny Treenware will have its Log Cabin Holiday Show Room open from Dec 4th - 24th.
Join us for our open house and studio. This is your chance to learn about treenware and shop for gifts. We will showing our complete line of work (which we’ve never done before at home, only at shows). Shop tours will also be available at this time.

Gallery Open House
Gail Anderson Vincent, clay artist, will host an open house for the Arts Council of Preston County in her studio and gallery at 137A S. Price St., Kingwood, WV, on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. In addition to her own pottery and jewelry, the gallery highlights the workmanship and products of juried artists from the Arts Council of Preston County. Some of the featured work includes multimedia paintings, oil paintings, pottery, jewelry, wood products, Appalachian music, contemporary felt art, baskets, body lotions, and much more.
The open house will be held on Friday, November 30, from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Musical entertainment, starting with Christmas carols by JoAnn Peterson, will include an old time jam with Bob Shank and Friends - Jake Pitzer, Jason Jaros, Mike Furbee, Bob Spangler and Chris Bern. Also featured will be singer/ song writer spots with Jim Savarino, Keith Pitzer and Jason Jaros.
Saturday, December 1, the event will be from 12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with music throughout the day. At 2:00 pm a barbershop quartet, The Men of Accord, will sing. Beginning at 5pm will be Keith and Joan Pitzer with guests Bob Shank and Jake Pitzer with sets throughout the evening. Refreshments will be served both days.
This event provides a wonderful opportunity to view some of Preston County’s finest art work and to shop for those special and unique Christmas gifts that showcase an amazing array of talent.
